Tongtai (TWSE: 4526) 2023 Q1 BOD and April 2023 sales report Press Release

TAIWAN (May 11, 2023) Tongtai Machine & Tool Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 4526) announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2023, consolidated revenue was NT$1,735,734 thousand, up NT$72,162 thousand 1% year-over-year; operating income was NT$6,513 thousand, net loss was NT$(667) thousand and EPS was NT$(0.02). Revenue slightly up year-over-year is mainly thanks to Europe market recovery; slightly net loss is affected by increasing interest rates. Tongtai will hold 2023 Annual Shareholders’ Meeting at the Company’s Headquarters at Room (No.3, Luke 3rd. Rd., Luzhu District, Kaohsiung City, 82151, Taiwan) on June 14, 2023.

TAIWAN (May 10, 2023) Tongtai Machine & Tool Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 4526) reports its April consolidated revenue at NT$436,543 thousand and year-to-April revenue reached NT$2,172,277 thousand which was up 1% from year-over-year. As a whole, the order in hand are about NT$5.3 billion. In terms of application, the automobile and motorcycle industry accounts for 46% and aerospace industry accounts for 8%. In terms of market area performance, Taiwan and China account for 43%, Europe and America account for 37%, others Asia region account for 20%.

As of Group development, PCI SCEMM, Tongtai’s subsidiary in France, merged with CERI and SERIMATEC to become CERIMATEC. CERIMATEC provides hardware and software integrated solutions regarding to automation and smart manufacturing. This acquisition better positions Tongtai in Europe auto whole factory export and to extend clients base to Renault and other Tier-1 suppliers. Meanwhile, it also strengthen products depth for Europe clients, and expand industry applications by adding medical and aerospace development.
